Responsibilities
Installers transport custom materials from our Tualatin factory to clients' homes and install them according to computer-generated plans created by our Design Consultants. Clients are our top priority and must be treated respectfully at all times. Installations are typically scheduled at least 4 weeks in advance, ensuring steady work, but require strict adherence to schedules.
- Arrive at 7:00 AM in Tualatin to review plans and clarify installation details.
- Depart by 8:00 AM and drive to the client's address using the provided installation vehicle.
- Introduce yourself to the client, collect installation payment, and inspect the installation location to ensure dimensions and obstructions match the plans.
- Resolve any discrepancies with the client, designer, and office team.
- Remove existing storage (e.g., wire shelving, wood shelves, closet rods) and patch holes as needed.
- Unload flat-packed materials from the van and transport them to the installation area.
- Assemble the custom storage product using top-view and elevation-view plans (installations may take 4 hours to 5 days).
- Clean the product, tidy the workspace, and reorganize tools in the van.
- Present the finished product to the client, explain adjustability, answer questions, and collect final payment.
- Return to the factory, clean the van, replenish hardware, and organize tools.
- Review plans for the next day's installation, load materials into the van, and report any missing parts via a smartphone app.
Installations may involve one installer, an installer and a helper, or multiple crews for large jobs. We invest in training to help you excel and grow within the company.
