Duncan-Parnell is growing and looking to add an Installer – Construction, Carpentry & Fabrication in our Raleigh NC office. This role is a critical position supporting both operations and customers in our Signs & Graphics division. Job Summary The primary responsibilities of the Installer include the assembly & installation of signage throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. The ideal candidate would have carpentry skills, be mechanically inclined with a background in construction, installation or signage. Essential Functions And Duties Install signs in and around the Carolinas and Virginia (Travel to Virginia 1-2 days per week as needed)Speak to customers on-site and representing Duncan-Parnell professionally while in the fieldOperate various types of tools & equipment safely & efficientlyMaintain cleanliness of equipment and work environmentTroubleshoot & resolve problemsRead & understand maps, construction plans, assembly instructions & measurements.Follow SOP’s and job protocolsPreparation for installations includes reviewing scope of work with production team, prepping tools, gathering materials, loading & unloadingReceive, verify and stock incoming shipments and deliveries from outside vendorsSend completion photosCommunicate effectively with team & complete paperwork for billingInstallations include but are not limited to:Exterior Signs with Posts (4x8; V-Signs, parking / directional signs, banners, etc.)Interior Signage (acrylics, wayfinding signs, impact logos, wall & window vinyl graphics)Installation services will require occasional use of a lift (scissor lift, boom lift)Additional duties as needed Requirements High school graduateValid Driver's license with good driving recordAble to travel overnight to Virginia 1-2 days per week as neededLight Construction, Carpentry, Fabrication or previous sign and graphics experiencesAlways strive to adhere to Duncan-Parnell’s Mission Statement Competencies Team player with a strong work ethicMechanically inclined with light carpentry skills, ability to take measurements and knowledge of hand & power toolsOrganized and detail-oriented – able to multi-task, prioritize & trouble-shoot projectsSelf-Motivation - Must be able to work independently and execute complete assignment in time sensitive mannerAbility to lift 50 or more pounds Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance availableMedical and dependent care FSA or HSA401(k) Retirement PlanPTO and HolidaysPaid Parental Leave The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
