Responsibilities
- On-site unloading and positioning of trucks
- Uncrating and preparing parts to be built
- Preassemble and build all fiberglass flume sections by caulking and bolting parts together following an assembly manual
- Preassemble and erect all ride support sections including steel columns, radial arms and yokes on foundations and concrete piers
- Connect steel yoke plates to radial arms/embedment plates by welding the connection
- Build the water ride tower in accordance of engineering drawings
- Paint steel columns, towers and start platforms
- Build and connect conveyor systems when applicable; including installation of conveyor control panel, sensors and final termination of all low voltage connections at each devise
- Moving light equipment into position such as rigging, cribbing and scaffolding
- Problem solve any technical issues that arise
- Repair water ride products from any quality defects or damages including fiberglass repairs, gel coat repairs, paint touch ups
- Clean the interior and exterior of the slide. Wash and wax the interior of the slide for public use
- Participate in safety requirements, including training, safety talks, and equipment inspections
Requirements
- Must be able to be deployed 8-12 weeks out of country
- Valid Passport
- Valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certificate
- 2-5 years of experience in construction activities being hands on
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Manlift and telehandler experience is an asset
- Experience with hoisting and rigging is an asset
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Basic computer skills are required
- Valid driver’s license

- This role is typically 60 hours a week, 6 days a week, in a hands-on trades role
