Job Responsibilities
- The installation of STC, Blast, Ballistic, FEBR, RF, and Multi-Threat door systems & hardware.
- Framing/drywall/finishing/painting as might be required.
- Supervise Installer Helpers & Laborers who assist in the installation of said doors & hardware.
- Continue to attend and pass Certified Door Install & Hardware Install courses to obtain Certifications on door sets & hardware. PSS will pay for courses.
- Be proactive in learning the overall management of a job site and door installation to become a Lead Certified Door Installer.
- Maintain a clean driving record to be able to drive company vehicles as might be needed.
- Maintain a clean record to be able to be cleared for access to Government Facilities that will require full background checks.
- Maintain great quality and close attention to detail throughout installations.
- Maintain collaborative and professional communications with any clients, PSS Subcontractors, and PSS staff at all times.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
- Able to lift and move heavy materials such as doors & frames.
- Absorb and assist in keeping job sites clean & protected.
- Out-of-state travel is required.
- At times weekend work is required.
- Random drug testing is a requirement of PSS and our Clients.
- Reliable and able to work up to 10 hours per day as needed.
- Conduct site walk-throughs as necessary.
- Attend and pass Certified Door Installer classes to obtain Certifications on all door sets, PSS will pay for the classes.
- Become OSHA 30 and CPR Certified within the first 30 days of employment and maintain such certifications.
Requirements
Experience in construction or carpentry, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality are required.
