About the role

Responsibilities

• Read and follow prints and written instructions as well as verbal directions to perform duties and responsibilities.
• Heavy lifting and work in confined spaces may be required.
• Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, skid steered loaders, cranes, aerial lifts, and cranes after documented training and approval.
• Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding issues and concerns on the job site.
• Comply with HMT quality and safety policies and programs.

Qualifications & Education

• High School Graduate - Preferred
• Valid Driver’s License, Social Security, Birth Certificate, and reliable transportation
• Ability to read and write in English
• Must be able to work at least an 8-hour rotating shift and up to a 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, working in confined spaces, and working around chemicals

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, climbing, carrying, pushing/pulling, and using repetitive wrist and hand movements
• Lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
• Mental alertness for entire regular shift
• May work in various locations within the U.S., including those subject to extreme temperatures, working in high places, and exposure to hazardous materials
