Installer

About the role

This position involves the installation of architectural grade doors, frames, and hardware, including toilet accessories, toilet partitions, lockers, and other Division 10 products. The role requires following instructions from field supervisors, working independently and with other installers, and maintaining all equipment in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Follows instructions from field supervisor regarding installation of doors, frames, and hardware, to include toilet accessories, toilet partitions, lockers, and other Division 10 materials
• Works independently and with other installers to install Division 8/10 products as assigned and trained
• Follows manufacturer direction and warranty requirements when installing products
• Tracks time and materials as required for each installation project
• Maintains all equipment in good working order and reports any malfunctions to field supervisor
• Trains entry level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Provides quality customer service
• Attends all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some installation experience with doors, frames, and hardware products, or Division 10 products
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level, and other required tools for installation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills

• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Physical stamina for standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
