Job Summary
This position provides support to the Solar Panel Installation team as an installation and electrical helper. The role involves working at heights, handling various tools and equipment, and ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and customer specifications. Work is performed with moderate supervision and the individual is accountable for their results and impact on the team.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist electricians and installers during solar installations.
- Bend conduit, strip and terminate wire, and maintain an organized job site.
- Assist in the installation of solar panel systems, including mounting panels, racking, and wiring.
- Use hand and power tools to install racking.
- Service the solar system as needed.
- Lay out and install conduit, disconnect switches, and junction boxes correctly.
- Perform jobs from high places (e.g., roofs), climbing ladders with proper equipment and materials.
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Construction experience and proficiency with hand tools.
- Active driver’s license.
- Ability to work at heights and lift equipment safely.

Education

Pay
Base pay: $23.00 per hour. Non‑sales positions are eligible for a bonus; additional compensation details are part of Comcast’s Total Rewards program.
