Position Summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to join our team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting residential alarm and automation systems.
  • Engaging in sales consultations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate security solutions.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues related to security alarm systems.
  • Conducting thorough testing and making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure system functionality.
  • Educating customers on the proper use and functionality of their security alarm systems.
  • Completing necessary paperwork, including installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • The ability to obtain or possess basic tools necessary for the job duties.
  • Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems, including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, using problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
