Installation Technician, Access Control Division

Essential Job Functions

• Prepares the area for installation including surveying, establishing installation process, and following installation guidelines including safety and post-installation testing requirements
• Understands networking access control devices, cabling, and low voltage
• Affords assistance with loading and unloading of tools, equipment, and supplies for the job
• Monitors cost-effectiveness and proper disposal of leftover materials according to regulations and local requirements
• Keeps company vehicle clean and notifies the Program Manager with any issues regarding the vehicle
• Operates company vehicle in a safe manner
• Demonstrates willingness to learn new products
• Displays strong customer service and interacts professionally with customers resolving customer concerns
• Collaborates seamlessly within a team setting
• Ensures regular attendance at work during typical work hours and provides appropriate flexibility for on-call and after hours emergency servicing needs
• Adheres to safety guidelines and policies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of low voltage with experience working in access controls and cameras
• Familiar with computers, networks, installation of access control devices, cameras, programming, and access controls systems
