Responsibilities
- Support daily construction activities through material handling, staging, and site preparation
- Transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment across the job site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces and removing debris prior to installation
- Auxiliary tasks for installers, such as applying firestop materials (sealants, foam, wraps, etc.)
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with site safety standards
- Apply labels to completed work and assist with basic documentation as needed
- Work on your feet for extended periods and move throughout the job site daily
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs regularly (heavier items with assistance)
- Perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing ladders or stairs
- Use hands and tools to handle materials, operate equipment, and complete repetitive tasks
- Maintain awareness of surroundings, safety signage, and instructions while working in active environments
- Maintain balance and coordination while moving materials or working in elevated or confined areas
- Operate effectively in physically demanding conditions with continuous movement and manual labor
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Perform general labor duties to support project progress
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of construction, labor, or related field experience preferred
- Experience with caulking, drywall, or similar trade work is a plus
- Familiarity with firestop materials (Hilti, 3M, STI) is a plus
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and in outdoor environments (including heat)
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on active construction sites
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive manual tasks
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to follow directions in a team environment
- Bilingual in Mandarin OR Spanish required
