About the role

We are seeking a Garage Door Installer to join our team at Precision Garage Door Services. You will receive comprehensive training and support to start your career as a successful garage door installer.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace garage doors, door operators, and related equipment.
• Educate customers about repair options and service plans.
• Sell services and collect payments from customers.
• Manage inventory in your vehicle to ensure you have the right tools and products.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, both inside and outside garages.
• Must have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers.
• Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet.
• Must be able to use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and technical skills (not required).
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers.
• Reliable and able to serve our customers following our process.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Technical skills in the garage door industry (training provided).
• Ability to manage time effectively to maximize productivity.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
