Inspector Packer

About the role

We are currently seeking an Inspector Packer at our Huhtamaki, Inc. facility in Andalusia, AL. This position requires being within reasonable commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow Huhtamaki safety rules and procedures.
• Inspect and pack finished cartons into corrugated boxes.
• Absorb and assist Flexo and/or N-Line Operators.
• Clean the area around the machine.
• Re-inspect cartons and visually inspect products for defects.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, lead persons, and operators regarding safety, quality, production, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Continuous mental and visual attention during work activities.
• Ability to work shift work of 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime.
• Physical capability to lift up to 35 lbs, bend, stoop, crouch, climb, and handle supplies and tools overhead.
• Constant standing and walking.
