Inspector Packer- 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role is preferred.
• An attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies are essential.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is important.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping are beneficial.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed is necessary.
