Summary
The Inspector Level III is responsible for defining inspection processes and certifying co-workers who perform inspections. He/she is certified in specific disciplines and has a detailed understanding of applicable codes and/or standards. Certified by appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program. The Inspector Level III shall have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available.Roles and Responsibilities
- Develops and Implements Inspection Plans
- Responsible for the Certification of Inspectors
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment
- Participates in Training/Certifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university and 4 years of related experience and 8 years related experience or 8 years prior experience as a Level II Inspector.
- Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.)
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards and preferably NRC regulations.

- History of participating in training and certifications
