About the role
As an Inspector Level II at Baker Construction, you’ll be integral to building the future of our country and our company. You’ll collaborate across diverse teams, have a hand in significant projects, and dive headfirst into complex challenges with the best in the industry. This role is certified in specific disciplines and requires a detailed understanding of applicable codes and/or standards. You’ll evaluate and report the validity and acceptability of inspection and test results, ensuring quality and compliance under a specific quality management program.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university and 2 years of related experience or 1 year of prior experience as a Level I Inspector
- Knowledge of construction practices (e.g., formwork, rebar, concrete placing)
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards
- Certified by an appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program
- Sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology
