About the role

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. This position is first shift on a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off!

Responsibilities

• Perform complex inspections for manufactured products including circuit board assemblies, components, top-level assemblies and verify that company quality standards are met.
• Use predetermined methods and specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products.
• Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
• Review data packages for completeness.
• In person on site interviews will be conducted with our Hiring Managers in our State of the Art Manufacturing Facility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong organizational, planning skills
• Able to organize to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of ESD handling, standard safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Demonstrate effective verbal, written and communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Able to work overtime

Preferred

• Works from drawings, process sheets, engineering change orders, and written / verbal instruction to inspect mechanically complex parts, subassemblies and assemblies against required quality standards.
• Identifies defects, follows company procedures operations sheets
• Inspects parts, subassemblies and assemblies after rework, modifications or repairs to verify defects have been corrected and ensure continuity to drawings, prints, etc.
• May interface with engineering regarding technical issues and problem resolution.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) IAW AS9102

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $62530 - $100048
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
