About the role
The Inspector I checks and inspects in-coming materials, in-process, and finished products, ensuring conformance to company quality standards and customer specifications.
Second shift employees are eligible for a 20% shift differential on top of base pay.
Schedule
2nd Shift: 4:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Monday - Friday.
Pay
The anticipated hourly starting rate for this position is between $21.56 to $28.74. The exact salary may be determined on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
Responsibilities
- Short-cycle, repetitive inspection of a variety of standard parts following standardized methods and procedures.
- Visually inspects or checks parts using precision measuring instruments or against standards.
- May perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
- May make periodic spot checks of limited variety of machined parts for adherence to specifications.
- Other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Reliable attendance is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 3 months of related experience
Qualifications
Preferred:
- 1 year of related experience
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector
