Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of products using inspection equipment, techniques, specifications, blueprints, technical data, and customer purchase orders.
- Complete all necessary inspections of products.
- Read and understand material specifications and be knowledgeable of sampling requirements per quality control.
- Issue 8130, certificate of conformance, and perform necessary computer transactions.
- Communicate defective material to production team lead and/or Chief Inspector.
- Segregate defective material awaiting review.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure its functionality.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the product team.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow prescribed safety procedures.
- Efficiently perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, small repairs, troubleshooting, and line maintenance on a variety of mid-sized jet, turbo jets, and propeller-driven aircraft.
- Ensure all aircraft are airworthy and that all technical aspects of the plane are documented properly.
- Research, interpret, and apply technical data to the task at hand.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years' experience in corporate aviation as an A&P Mechanic.
- A & P Mechanic certification.
- Prior aircraft ground handling experience.
- High School Diploma.
