Inspector - FAI Support
The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking an Inspector – FAI Support to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.
- Create ballooned (Bubble) drawings from engineering drawings
- Identify and label drawing characteristics (dimensions, notes, tolerances)
- Basic understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) concepts and documentation
- Familiarity with SAE AS9102 requirements (preferred, not required)
- Support preparation of FAI reports (Forms 1, 2, and 3) with guidance
- Perform detailed and accurate work when documenting attribute and variable characteristics
- Communicate with Engineering and Quality teams to clarify drawing requirements
The Person
- A high school diploma and two years of quality inspector experience
- A basic understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) concepts and documentation
- Familiarity with SAE AS9102 requirements (preferred, not required)
