Responsibilities
- Tie into our day-to-day operations, supporting our teams.
- Implement the right processes and practices across our organization to ensure flight and product efficiency.
- Perform inspection functions on parts/components as directed and assigned.
- Comprehensively review customer repair instructions for the Repair/Overhaul of the part/component and identify any requested special instructions as needed.
- Conduct preliminary, hidden-damage, and in-process inspections on articles according to the manufacturer's instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, EO's, Airworthiness Directives, RD's, government and industry standard practices, and other acceptable or approved data.
- Maintain proficiency in using inspection aids in your assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensure that inspection tools and equipment, including inspection aids, are in proper working order and have the correct calibration information.
- Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the article(s) being inspected.
- Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by company.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis on production and customer issues and suggest actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the aviation field.
- One to three years of experience with various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspected.

- A high school degree or GED.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Well-organized with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think outside the box when solving problems.
