About the role
The purpose of this position is to provide inspection support for quality, manufacturing, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Program and set up CMMs to perform dimensional measurements and inspections according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Operate CMM equipment to collect measurement data and perform inspections on workpieces.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze measurement data and inspection results to determine the conformance of parts and identify any non-conformities.
- Generate inspection reports and documentation to record measurement results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality-related issues and suggest process improvements.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- One to three years of optical mechanical inspection with Coordinate Measuring Machine experience desired.
- Experience in handling precision components.
- Basic blueprint reading and comprehension.
- Computer fluency to include Windows 10 and newer.
- Standard drawing practices, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is desired.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: One to three years in optical mechanical inspection with Coordinate Measuring Machine experience desired.
- Skills: Basic blueprint reading and comprehension, computer fluency to include Windows 10 and newer, standard drawing practices, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Pay
The range for this position is $27.00 hourly rate - $32.00 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
Schedule
This is a second shift position Monday - Thursday, 3:15PM to 1:15AM.
