Duties
- Performs inspections for first article and production readiness
- Manufactures and/or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
- Maintains accurate and reliable documentation
- Performs inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
- Visually inspects parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
- Ensures the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell
- Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
- Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of machined parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ experience
- Experience with CMM systems and have familiarity with open DMIS language preferred
- Knowledge of GD&T and blue print reading is required
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches)
