Duties

  • Performs inspections for first article and production readiness
  • Manufactures and/or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
  • Maintains accurate and reliable documentation
  • Performs inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
  • Visually inspects parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
  • Ensures the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell
  • Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
  • Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of machined parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years’ experience
  • Experience with CMM systems and have familiarity with open DMIS language preferred
  • Knowledge of GD&T and blue print reading is required
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches)
  • U.S. Citizenship status required
