Inspections Sales Manager

Land Gorilla · San Luis Obispo County, CA · 2 wk ago
On-siteBusiness Development$50k–$65k/yrFull-time

About the role

Build the network that keeps our inspections running. Every property inspection we complete depends on having the right inspector, in the right place, at the right time. As Inspection Sales Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for finding, recruiting, and onboarding qualified property inspectors into markets that need them, turning "we don't have enough coverage here" into a fully staffed, high-performing region. This is a sales leadership role at its core. You'll coach a small team of entry-level recruiters, manage a pipeline from first contact to onboarded inspector, and be directly accountable for closing coverage gaps. If you think in quotas, pipeline stages, and coaching conversations, and you get energy from building something measurable, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

  • Turn regional coverage gaps into concrete, executable outreach plans
  • Build a team that consistently hits recruiting targets, not just activity targets
  • Create a smooth, professional onboarding experience that gets new inspectors active fast
  • Develop your reps into stronger recruiters through hands-on coaching, not just oversight
  • Bring data-driven thinking to a growing function, shaping how success is measured and improved over time
  • Manage, coach, and hold your team accountable to weekly and monthly recruiting targets
  • Partner with our broader recruiting function to identify low-coverage regions and build plans to fill them
  • Track your team's full pipeline and report performance up to leadership
  • Review escalated applications and make final go/no-go calls
  • Run regular 1:1s and team meetings focused on outreach technique, objection handling, and closing
  • Own onboarding improvements so new inspectors are fully set up and ready to work
  • Serve as the escalation point when your team hits something they can't resolve alone

Requirements

  • 2+ years in sales, recruiting, or business development; 1+ year leading or supervising a team
  • A track record of hitting team-based targets or quotas
  • Strong coaching instincts and comfort giving direct, constructive feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfort reading a pipeline report and turning it into an action plan
  • A self-motivated, adaptable mindset that thrives in a metrics-driven environment
  • Experience in mortgage, real estate, insurance, or inspection industries is a plus, but not required

Pay

Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 annual base, with an on-target earnings (OTE) range of $75,000-$95,000 including performance-based variable pay.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance package
  • 12 observed holidays
  • Paid time off, accruing up to 160 hours (20 days) annually
  • 40 hours of paid sick leave
  • 2 floating holidays
  • Paid family leave
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Certificate reimbursement program
  • Monthly health and wellness stipend
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental health, financial planning, and crisis intervention support
