About the role

Eberl Claims Service is seeking Ladder Inspection Specialists across Nebraska to perform on-site property inspections for the insurance industry. This independent contractor opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in inspections, roofing, construction, restoration, or related fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform property inspections, including roof, exterior, and interior observations as assigned
• Capture high-quality photos, measurements, and inspection documentation
• Upload inspection data using Eberl platforms
• Communicate professionally with property owners and customers
• Deliver accurate, complete inspection reports within required timelines

Requirements

• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
• Proficiency with smartphones, mobile apps, and digital reporting platforms
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the service area
• Ability to safely access roofs using ladders and appropriate safety equipment
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in customer-facing situations

Qualifications

Required Equipment

• Ladder and appropriate safety equipment for roof access
• High-resolution mobile device or camera for image capture

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 60 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb as needed
• Work outdoors for extended periods
• Drive for extended periods when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with property inspections, adjusting, roofing, construction, or restoration
• Experience documenting property conditions and damage
• Familiarity with inspection software and digital reporting tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
