Inspection Specialist - Gig Opportunity

Eberl Claims Service is seeking Ladder Inspection Specialists across the state of Wisconsin to perform property inspections for the insurance industry as independent contractors.

About the role

Conduct on-site property inspections, document observable conditions, and capture high-quality photos and measurements to support insurance claim evaluations. Ideal for professionals with experience in inspections, roofing, construction, restoration, or related fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform property inspections
• Conduct roof, exterior, and interior observations as assigned
• Capture photos, measurements, and inspection documentation
• Upload inspection data using Eberl platforms
• Communicate professionally with property owners and customers
• Deliver accurate, complete inspection reports within required timelines

Requirements

• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
• Proficiency with smartphones, mobile apps, and digital reporting platforms
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the service area
• Ability to safely access roofs using ladders and appropriate safety equipment
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in customer-facing situations

Qualifications

Required Equipment

• Ladder and appropriate safety equipment for roof access
• High-resolution mobile device or camera for image capture

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 60 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb as needed
• Work outdoors for extended periods
• Drive for extended periods when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with property inspections, adjusting, roofing, construction, or restoration
• Experience documenting property conditions and damage
• Familiarity with inspection software and digital reporting tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
