Inspection - QC II

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical inspections of incoming and in-process materials.
• Record in SAP and on quality records the status of inspection of all assigned parts.
• Actively participate in project improvement programs.
• Interface appropriately with all external and internal customers and suppliers, including source inspectors.
• Ensure product quality, workmanship, conformance to all applicable processes, requirements, and regular regulatory standards in accordance with the established quality assurance system.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Three years minimum experience on complex electrical inspection or equivalent equipment.
• Previous experience with electrical equipment such as electrometers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, TDR, multimeters & low voltage testing, etc.
• Set up and connect equipment for testing activities, ensuring correct positioning and configuration in accordance with safety and procedural guidelines.
• Conduct functional testing of electrical components and accurately document findings related to performance and final disposition.
• Demonstrate good decision making and safe practices.
• Complete all required documentation and other testing logs or quality records.
• Have proficiency in troubleshooting electrical components.
• Have a strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation practices.
• Have an ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Have an Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Have a strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformances in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in quality inspection using electrical or electronic equipment.
• Experience in SAP.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to nuclear manufacturing.
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles and mechanical systems.
