Inspection I Associate

About the role

The Inspection I Associate role focuses on inspecting components, verifying conformance to specifications, and maintaining high-quality standards that support both operations and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to verify product quality and meet engineering specifications
• Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) for dimensional checks
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T to ensure accuracy
• Document results, identify defects, and support quality improvements
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation experience
• Precision measurement and inspection tools experience
• Basic math skills (measurement and tolerances – metric)
• Mechanical aptitude; able to work safely in a manufacturing environment (lift up to 40 pounds)
