Insomniac - Countdown SoCal NYE 2026 Seasonal Exterior Operations Crew

About the role

Insomniac is seeking Exterior Operations Crew members to join our dynamic team. This position reports to the Director of Exterior Operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork lifts, stakebeds, water trucks, dump trucks, front end loaders, skid steers etc. Fork lift certs required.
• Earth moving equipment and/or CDL certifications and experience are a plus.
• Exterior leads can direct the crew in safe job performance, work with vendors, manage inventory, and report equipment maintenance.
• Signage crew hangs signs around the festival perimeter, installing signs with zip ties, overhead trusses, and parking lot flags.
• Signage leads direct the signage crew, understand sign placement, and have knowledge of local area, patron flow, and paths of travel.
• Shuttle loader/unloader works on show days to load and unload headliners from buses.
• Shuttle leads manage shuttle staff breaks, check in bus drivers, ensure smooth bus operation, and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Age 18 or older
• Able to walk long distances, move constantly, and lift 50+ lbs
• Clean and presentable attire
• Motivated with a "Everything is possible" attitude
• Active problem solver with a sense of urgency

Work Environment

• Tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
• Work in drastic temperature climates
• Frequent travel to work events during holidays, evenings, and weekends, as required
