Insolvency/Business Rescue Director

About the role

Responsible for overseeing insolvency and business rescue processes within the organization. Expertise in managing distressed companies and restructuring financial obligations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee insolvency and business rescue procedures
• Manage distressed company restructurings
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize financial risks
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including creditors, investors, and government bodies

Requirements

• LLB degree
• Admitted Attorney
• At least 5 years of post qualification experience in insolvency and business rescue
• Robust book of business
• Excellent management experience
• Expert knowledge in insolvency and business rescue

Qualifications

• JHB based or willing to relocate

• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Knowledgeable in local and international insolvency laws
