Insolvency Associate
About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Insolvency Associate with a minimum of four years of experience in creditors’ rights, commercial bankruptcy, workouts, receiverships, judicial and equitable foreclosures, and restructurings. The ideal candidate will also have experience with all aspects of litigation, including pre-judgment relief and post-judgment collections.
Responsibilities
- Significant in-person hearing and trial appearances and related travel
- Work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit
- Handle multiple projects with a focus on articulating legal strategies and courses of action
- Comfortable working under rapid deadlines
Requirements
- Strong academic record
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team
- Superior judgment
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible

Pay
Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Colorado and Illinois only is $225,000 to $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The position requires significant in-person hearing and trial appearances and related travel.
