InSite Industrial Services Technician General Laborer
HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Canton, OH is seeking Industrial Insite Technicians / General Labor to join a safety-conscious team. This role involves setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other responsibilities while representing HPC-Industrial in client interactions. Availability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends, is required. This position is ideal for transitioning military personnel looking to leverage their skills in a civilian role.

Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
- Operate manual and automated Hydro blasting equipment, Ultra High-Pressure pumps, and other specialized equipment.
- Energize pumping equipment, Hydro blasting, chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
- Inspect cleaned surfaces to ensure they meet company and customer expectations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including industrial vacuuming equipment, and dispose of hazardous/non-hazardous materials.
- Conduct maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
- Complete classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and gain essential experience.
- Understand English at a level sufficient to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
- Operate emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Availability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable service in the industrial cleaning industry.
- Strong knowledge of Hydroblasting equipment and vacuum truck operation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current certification as an authorized HPC-Industrial driver.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting HPC-Industrial equipment (preferred).
- OSHA certification may be required.
