Insights & Reporting Analyst
About the role
Responsible for very complex reporting projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, perform in-depth analysis, interpret results, and develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company for customer and employee populations.
Acquires data from multiple data sources to perform analysis and reporting. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data to provide answers to business questions as well as recommendations for action. Presents data and analysis in a clear and concise manner, enabling the audience to quickly understand results and recommendations so they can activate upon them and make data-driven decisions.
Collaborates with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis. Measures and monitors results of applied recommendations and presents adjustments. Ensures all data acquisition, sharing, and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Gather and integrate large volumes of data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
- Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights in complex data.
- Develop actionable recommendations based on data insights for business decisions.
- Present data and analysis clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners to provide a holistic view of analysis.
- Measure and monitor the impact of applied recommendations and adjust as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for data acquisition, sharing, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Four to five years of data analysis experience.
Skills
- Experience in SQL, WebFOCUS, or other BI tools for querying and data manipulation/transformation.
- Experience in financial services, with knowledge of HR systems or financial services products, customers, transactions, and interaction data.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data for insights.
- Ability to data mine, analyze data, and present insights meaningfully.
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with senior business unit management, business partners, and project sponsors.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, organization, and project management skills.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Power Platform (especially Power BI) and Tableau is preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $92,820.00 - $109,200.00, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
Schedule
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.
