About the role
This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, deploy, and tune detection capabilities across various platforms and data sources
- Lead investigations into unusual data activities and insider-risk scenarios
- Collect and correlate data from multiple sources to establish activity timelines
- Develop automation and investigation tools to enhance case handling efficiency
- Assess insider-risk capabilities for performance and accuracy improvements
- Use hypotheses and testing methods to refine detection mechanisms
- Communicate findings clearly to various stakeholders during investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related fields
- 7+ years in insider threat, detection engineering, or related security fields
- Proficient in conducting security investigations and analyzing activity
- Experience with SIEM, DLP, UEBA, and other relevant security technologies
- Skilled in at least one programming or scripting language, notably Python or Java
- Knowledge of identity management, cloud services, and data-exfiltration methods
- Strong communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical teams

Pay
$168,000 – $310,500 annually
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
