Insider Risk Lead

About the Role

We're seeking a leader to stand up FluidStack's insider risk and counterintelligence program from the ground up. You'll own the operating model, roadmap, and controls that protect some of the most targeted compute infrastructure in the world, securing the frontier of AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement FluidStack's insider risk and counterintelligence program, including operating model, roadmap, and technical controls.
• Collaborate with detection engineering, IT, infrastructure, and physical security teams to design and land technical controls, such as monitoring, analytics, identity, data controls, and badge-to-bare-metal security.
• Manage insider risk incidents end-to-end, working closely with legal and HR from initial signal to resolution.
• Develop and maintain the program's policy library, ensuring adoption across legal, HR, and leadership.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, aligning with legal and HR on processes and ensuring the program's credibility and transparency to the workforce.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building or rebuilding insider risk programs in commercial environments, with a deep understanding of private-sector workforce dynamics.
• Background in the intelligence community or adjacent national security missions, with demonstrated success translating counterintelligence tradecraft into corporate practice.
• Track record of shipping technical controls through cross-functional teams, including detection, identity, IT, and physical security.
• Experience writing and implementing monitoring and investigations policies that have been adopted and withstood scrutiny from legal and HR.
• Strong collaboration skills with legal and HR teams, with the ability to communicate sensitive incidents effectively in their respective languages.

The Security Team

You'll be securing the frontier of AI, protecting the most valuable and targeted artifacts in technology. Your threat surface is measured in gigawatts, and you'll build the entire security program from scratch, scaling across continents.

Pay

Compensation Range: $259K - $311K
