Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between Standex Electronics and assigned customers/accounts.
  • Handle correspondence including phone calls, emails, and conference calls regarding purchase orders, price quotes, order status, ship dates, expedite requests, tracking information, invoices, etc.
  • Manage supplier portals, spreadsheets, shipping methods, and special paperwork such as commercial invoices.
  • Communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work independently and under time constraints.
  • Handle inbound calls from potential customers and route/escalate calls appropriately.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not necessary.
  • High-level organization, problem solving, attention to detail, and multitasking.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and departments; handle objections.
  • Understand material requirements planning process.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen, phone etiquette, and crisis management capabilities.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Energetic team player.
