Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between Standex Electronics and assigned customers/accounts.
- Handle correspondence including phone calls, emails, and conference calls regarding purchase orders, price quotes, order status, ship dates, expedite requests, tracking information, invoices, etc.
- Manage supplier portals, spreadsheets, shipping methods, and special paperwork such as commercial invoices.
- Communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Work independently and under time constraints.
- Handle inbound calls from potential customers and route/escalate calls appropriately.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not necessary.
- High-level organization, problem solving, attention to detail, and multitasking.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and departments; handle objections.
- Understand material requirements planning process.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook.
- SAP experience a plus.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen, phone etiquette, and crisis management capabilities.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Energetic team player.
