Inside Sales Representative - Preschool

About the role

As an Inside Sales Representative at Lifetouch (part of the Shutterfly family of brands), you will lead the sales process from initial outreach to closing the deal, selling photography services to preschools and daycare centers. You’ll achieve sales goals by connecting with prospective accounts, identifying their needs, promoting our offerings, and guiding them through the process.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls (40-60 calls per day) using a targeted lead list to identify decision makers, build relationships, and facilitate the sales process from initiation to close.
• Build and retain customer relationships, including rebooking for the next season after closing the business.
• Use Salesforce (CRM) to document sales process status, track contacts, and update data accurately.
• Apply Lifetouch’s consultative selling strategy to maximize sales and address customer needs.
• Listen carefully to understand prospective customer needs and effectively respond to and overcome objections.
• Demonstrate expertise by explaining product/service features, benefits, pricing, commission, execution, and collection processes.
• Provide professional customer support by speaking clearly, checking for understanding, offering solutions, and following up efficiently.
• Safeguard all customer, employee, and company proprietary and personal information, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of sales and/or customer account service/support experience.
• Telephone sales experience with daily goals strongly preferred.
• Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) system, such as Salesforce, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; post-secondary education preferred.

Pay

The base pay for this role varies by location and candidate experience:

• California: $35,750–$50,500
• Connecticut and New York: $35,750–$46,250
• Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, and Washington: $35,750–$42,750
• Nevada: $33,500–$46,250
• Maryland and New Jersey: $38,500–$46,250
• Hawaii: $33,500–$40,250

This position may also be eligible for a bonus incentive.

Schedule

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in a state where Shutterfly is registered to do business. Eligible states include all U.S. states except District of Columbia, North Dakota, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming.
