As an Inside Sales Representative I, you will manage account relationships by providing strategic service and support to an assigned customer base. You will maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value-added solution selling while acting as a key liaison between suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall account relationship and provide strategic service and support to assigned customers.
- Maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value-added solution selling.
- Provide customer service, including quoting, order fulfillment, on-time delivery, engineering support, and troubleshooting.
- Build and establish long-term business partnerships between suppliers and customers.
- Develop and manage customer strategy in assigned account territory, ensuring Sales Excellence.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of supply chain engagements (e.g., e-Compass, Consignments, CARES, Synergistic products, Reverse Logistics, GBC, ITAD).
- Sell and drive Solutions Selling within the approved account-level strategy, leveraging knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Support Sales activities for the Order-to-Invoice process.
- Own the customer interface for backend Quality processes, including corrective actions and Field Quality Reports.
- Maintain the Perfect Order Index (POI) and Inventory integrity to minimize write-offs/bill backs.
- Coordinate Credit & Financial Information and available resources/support functions.
- Set strategy for the quote process, coordinate resources, and process customer quotations (Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, etc.).
- Validate EOL and item class changes (NCNR), negotiate pricing, and notify customers of price increases.
Requirements
- Advanced specialized skills or multi-skilled through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
- Intermediate Excel experience (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, customer requests, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and act as an informal resource for colleagues.
- Identify and resolve key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
- Take a broad perspective to problems and spot new, less obvious solutions.
- This position requires work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Viable candidates must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees).
Qualifications
Typically requires a 4-year degree and 1–2 years of experience or a two-year degree with equivalent related experience.
Pay
Base salary range: $50,000–$60,000. On-target earnings (OTE): $90,000–$100,000, depending on experience. Hourly rate: $23.75–$29.03. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
Schedule
Hybrid: 3 days in office (Phoenix, Arizona) and 2 days remote.
