About the role

Reading Truck is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as an Inside Sales Coordinator. The candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.
  • Understand the sales channel of customers, dealers, and distributors.
  • Communicate with customers, distributors, and regional sales managers via phone, email, or other channels to ensure all needs are met.
  • Follow up directly with leads provided to distributors by Reading to ensure distributors are contacting each lead and promoting and selling Reading products.
  • Team with channel partners to build a pipeline and close sales.
  • Work closely with regional sales managers and sales executives to build opportunities for further development and closure.
  • Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
  • Work closely with distributors to help them gain a better understanding of Reading’s ordering procedures and the price book.
  • Keep up with product and service information updates.
  • Continuously develop a strong knowledge of Reading’s entire product line to effectively interact with customers, distributors, and regional sales managers.
  • Problem solve when issues arise while maintaining a positive demeanor during challenging situations.
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers on Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of customer service or sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in truck equipment, OEM automotive, or similar industry (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Manufacturing industry or background experience (preferred).
