Position Summary
NWH is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative interested in building a long-term career in sales within the hardwood lumber industry. This role provides direct exposure to customer relationship management, quoting and order management in preparation for expanded commercial roles.What You’ll Do
- Build strong relationships with customers and support their business needs through responsive communication and problem-solving
- Provide product recommendations, pricing, availability, and lead times to customers and sales partners
- Prioritize customer satisfaction and provide exceptional service
- Partner closely with Outside Sales Representatives and internal teams to deliver seamless customer experience from quote to delivery
- Develop a strong understanding of NWH products, markets, customers, and sales strategies
- Contribute to a high-performance sales culture focused on service, growth, and teamwork
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Self-motivated with a competitive mindset and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Hardwood lumber or building products experience is a plus, but not required
