About the role
We are searching for an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing Rental operations at our Lafayette, LA location.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory by strategic cold calling, prospect engagement, and business development
- Establish customer relationships with you as a single point of contact
- Qualify, maintain, and update customer account and asset information using CRM system
- Manage CQI (Customer Quality Index)
- Place open dialogue calls to assigned accounts (20+ connected per day)
- Field and direct incoming customer calls and walk-ins appropriately
- Learn, understand, and advise solutions for your customer's business issues
- Prospect/quote/sell rental machines
- Generate and forward comprehensive leads for everything the Company offers
- Know/apply all promotions and marketing campaigns when applicable
- Become accustomed to understanding customer buying signals and learn to close deals
- Maintain knowledge of competitive pricing, procedures, and trends
- Understand full-range of new and existing capabilities and features of all the Company's products
Requirements
- Highly preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Preferred: Well-developed communication and organizational skills
- Preferred: Proficiency in computers and related software
- Required: Good verbal communication skills
- Required: Mechanical aptitude
- Required: Problem-solving ability
- Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Required: Ability to multi-task in an organized, effectively, timely, and professional manner
