About the role

We are searching for an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing Rental operations at our Lafayette, LA location.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory by strategic cold calling, prospect engagement, and business development
  • Establish customer relationships with you as a single point of contact
  • Qualify, maintain, and update customer account and asset information using CRM system
  • Manage CQI (Customer Quality Index)
  • Place open dialogue calls to assigned accounts (20+ connected per day)
  • Field and direct incoming customer calls and walk-ins appropriately
  • Learn, understand, and advise solutions for your customer's business issues
  • Prospect/quote/sell rental machines
  • Generate and forward comprehensive leads for everything the Company offers
  • Know/apply all promotions and marketing campaigns when applicable
  • Become accustomed to understanding customer buying signals and learn to close deals
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive pricing, procedures, and trends
  • Understand full-range of new and existing capabilities and features of all the Company's products

Requirements

  • Highly preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Preferred: Well-developed communication and organizational skills
  • Preferred: Proficiency in computers and related software
  • Required: Good verbal communication skills
  • Required: Mechanical aptitude
  • Required: Problem-solving ability
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Required: Ability to multi-task in an organized, effectively, timely, and professional manner
