Position Responsibilities
- Negotiate prices and place orders with outside vendors.
- Communicate with customers and appropriate staff regarding changes to delivery schedules.
- Work with walk-in customers and pull small orders.
- Process order payments when required.
- Generate price quotes to customers.
- Maintain showroom and personal workstation area in a neat & organized manner.
- Quickly help solve customer complaints and problems.
- Remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Support outside sales.
- Interact with vendors and participate in product training.
Requirements
- Possess a knowledge of the building industry.
- Be able to multi-task.
- Be self-motivated.
- Work in a highly fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum education is a High School Diploma.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience in construction and building supply industry or product sales experience.
