Position Responsibilities

  • Negotiate prices and place orders with outside vendors.
  • Communicate with customers and appropriate staff regarding changes to delivery schedules.
  • Work with walk-in customers and pull small orders.
  • Process order payments when required.
  • Generate price quotes to customers.
  • Maintain showroom and personal workstation area in a neat & organized manner.
  • Quickly help solve customer complaints and problems.
  • Remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Support outside sales.
  • Interact with vendors and participate in product training.

Requirements

  • Possess a knowledge of the building industry.
  • Be able to multi-task.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Work in a highly fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education is a High School Diploma.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience in construction and building supply industry or product sales experience.
