Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative will build and maintain strong customer relationships, drive sales through effective lead management, and support overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound sales calls, emails, and inquiries to generate and close business opportunities.
- Proactively reach out to leads and prospects through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Work with existing low revenue dealers to develop strategies to improve performance.
- Qualify dealers/customers to determine if they have a fit and long-term buying potential.
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and present appropriate product or service solutions.
- Aid in funnel management and the identification process of new customers.
- Accurately enter and maintain customer information, sales activities, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with outside sales, marketing, and customer service teams to maximize business opportunities.
- Provide product knowledge, pricing, and proposal support to customers.
- Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, trade shows, and referrals.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities.
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inside sales, tele sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Physical Activities
- Daily activity includes but is not limited to: lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
- Frequent communication via phone, email, and in-person.
- Reading, communication, simple math.
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer.
- Be able to regularly lift/move up to 30lbs.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
