Inside Sales Representative
About the role
As an Inside Sales Representative at Batesville, you will call on assigned business clients to generate sales revenue. You will promote direct and indirect sales through phone-based customer relations, create and maintain professional sales presentations, and proactively build relationships using Batesville’s standard sales process. You will also communicate with Batesville associates and customers to monitor, document, and provide feedback to sales, support, and development teams.
Responsibilities
- Sell products to grow Batesville’s overall book of business; establish and maintain quality relationships with established and prospective customers.
- Maintain current book of business while prospecting to increase Batesville’s share of wallet.
- Document and report results, activities, and customer insights via CRM System.
- Conduct effective sales presentations to customers via phone with the support of technology and direct marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with sales management, field sales, marketing, logistics, and credit teams to support Batesville products and services, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Participate actively in sales/marketing planning and team meetings as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3+ years of related experience in sales and/or marketing experience and/or training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience.
- CRM/Call Management experience.
- Previous sales or marketing experience.

Pay
The expected base hourly range for this role is $25-$27 per hour plus a monthly performance bonus. Actual compensation within this range will be based on factors including qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
