About the role

FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. This is a full-time permanent position located in Appleton, WI.

Responsibilities

• Establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team.
• Determine and provide solutions to customers' process flow control and instrumentation needs.
• Impact customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results directly.
• Process orders, price inquiries, and provide technical and application information.
• Respond to customer inquiries, send order acknowledgments, and verify ship dates.
• Ensure order accuracy, expedite deliveries, and negotiate with vendors.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives to solicit business and maintain customer service levels.
• Maximize gross margin by ensuring superior service, problem-solving, and technical expertise.
• Review open customer order reports and take action on items at risk for missing delivery dates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience in customer service-related industries preferred.
• Experience in an inside technical sales/customer service role with an industrial distributor a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of process flow control and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in using FCX and vendor-supplied tools/software.
• Basic understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles.
