Responsibilities
- Understand and execute the full sales cycle with an assigned book of business which could include new and/or dormant customers.
- Understand and execute the lead management process to include lead generation, scheduled meetings, account optimization, follow up and hand offs through continued support.
- Utilize and learn new technology to provide explanations and solutions to customers.
- Daily tasks include outreach, introduction calls, presentations, and basic problem solving.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly assigned quotas by tracking progress and performance.
- Effectively communicate with customers and provide sales support to close deals.
- Participate in regular 1:1’s with manager to review business and performance results.
- Adopt and master company sales processes to ensure consistent quota attainment.
- Prepare for engagement with customers through industry, company, and product research.
- Accurately maintain CRM data points to enable data driven strategic plans and to surface valuable customer insights.
- Exhibit professionalism through continued learning, organization, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Successful track record in previous sales roles; B2B and/or direct sales experience preferred.
- Computer literate and familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Tools, CRM’s; familiarity with Asana preferred.
- Demonstrate verbal and written skills that effectively communicate with customers via phone, virtual, email, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Motivated to learn to handle high pressure situations, objections, and concerns when working with customers.
- Individual who consistently demonstrates confidence, ambition, adaptability, and resilience in tasks and engagements with others.
- Ability to execute proven processes and analyze data to make informed decisions, find creative solutions, and solve problems.
- Able to manage time in a structured and organized way to ensure deadlines are met and quotas are obtained.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
Qualifications
- Sales Degree / Sales Certifications are a bonus.
- Familiarity with reporting and sales analytics is preferred but not required.
