About the role
The Inside Sales Engineer, for Power Systems Sales, supports the Power Sales team, Sales Coordinators, and the Director of Power Projects. Duties include site visits, quotations, project management, technical submittals, and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Learn and stay up to date with power systems equipment.
- Create and maintain project forecasting reports in HubSpot CRM System and manufacturers' portals.
- Support the Power Sales Team in developing and maintaining relationships with electrical contractors and engineers.
- Attend monthly sales meetings and provide accurate forecasting reports.
- Maintain safety certifications and monitor commission reports for accuracy.
- Coordinate startup, commissioning, and delivery of power services.
- Provide technical support for manufacturer projects and service companies.
- Create and assist with customer proposals, maintenance reports, O&M documentation, and other technical documents.
Requirements
- Engineering degree with strong communication skills in engineering terms.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Visio for preparing technical drawings.
- Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70E and OSHA related codes.
- Proven professional communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Valid driver's license for site visits.
