Responsibilities
- Handle inbound inquiries and proactively reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Sell Nevco’s full product line, including scoreboards, message centers, scorer’s tables, video displays, indoor/outdoor sound packages, and fully automated timing equipment.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, focusing on schools, colleges, parks, and recreation facilities, minor league professional franchises.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and proofs while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce CRM.
- Recommend products based on customer needs, budgets, and interests.
- Answer questions regarding pricing, specifications, installation, and lead times.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales Consultants to support territory growth and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Assist with trade show preparation and virtual product demonstrations as needed.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Senior Director of Sales.
Requirements
- Sales experience (inside sales or customer service preferred; sports industry experience a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, web navigation, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven.
- Able to work in-office Monday through Friday. Some light travel may be occasionally required for trade shows, sales calls, site visits, etc.
Pay
Full-time (Edwardsville, IL office)
Base salary plus commission: $45,000 – $75,000+ per year
This is not a remote position.
