Job Summary

Responsible for providing dependable service through accurate order entry, basic pricing, and secure payment handling.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

  • Processes orders across multiple channels, including phone, email, text, and counter, accurately and promptly
  • Handles payments securely, including credit card, check, and cash transactions
  • Identifies stock products and recommends comparable alternatives
  • Maintains margin goals within established pricing guidelines
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure service commitments are met

Nature and Scope

Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.

Education And Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry, email, and order processing systems
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in transactional tasks
  • Clear and professional communication skills across phone, email, text, and in-person interactions
  • Ability to identify products and suggest appropriate alternatives based on customer needs
  • Understanding of and ability to follow established pricing guidelines
  • Proven reliability and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
