About the role
The Inside Sales Associate works with customers to find what they want, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. Responsibilities include establishing relationships with customers, processing and distributing products, handling inquiries and complaints, and managing warranties.
Responsibilities
- Establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers, representing the company professionally.
- Pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.
- Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate invoices for pickup or delivery.
- Secures payment of invoices with proper funds or obtains credit authorization according to company policy.
- Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items based on manufacturer's warranty policy and customer needs.
- Estimates date of delivery to customers based on vendor's production and delivery schedules.
- Aids in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.
- The ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.
- Strong counter "presence" and ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
- Good computer skills including MS Office programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with inventory, product allocations, and customer issues.
- Familiarity with a related product line such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction is helpful.
- To be 18 years of age or older to apply.

- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing and background verifications.
- This position is considered "safety-sensitive," including tasks that could affect the safety and health of the employee or others.

Pay
$18 - $24/hour and up to $2,500 through performance bonuses.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7am-5pm and seasonal Saturdays 7am-11am.
