Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exercises independent judgment to answer inbound calls to sell Innovative Tooling products.
  • Provide sales-related solutions utilizing common and alternative sources of information to resolve customer product and service issues.
  • Consults with other associates to locate the most effective sources of information.
  • Provides customer service to ensure customer satisfaction, account retention, and revenue generation.
  • Communicates customer concerns to management to ensure the most effective and lasting problem resolution.
  • Builds customer relationships via exceptional levels of service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Works closely with vendors to produce quotes, expedite orders, locate sources for product, and arrange product training.
  • Supports outside sales representatives in various branch activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years proven inside industrial distribution sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with email, various internet browsers and/or the Windows operating system required.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and industrial-like products and the commercial procurement process is preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Adaptable to an ever-changing and growing company
